Women’s Bible Study Opportunities!

 

 

It is our desire to provide opportunities for women in every stage in life to enter into a relationship with Christ or deepen your walk with Him by studying His word.   Only He can fill the longing in every heart.

Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy by Beth Moore shows how individuals can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. Join us in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Jillian Baxter will be leading the group which will meet on Friday mornings from 10 – 12 beginning September 11th.  Childcare is available.  Please contact Jillian Baxter at 703-842-9597.   

 

Breaking Free:  Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life.  Together you will explore ways to identify and overcome any spiritual strongholds and remove any obstacles that hinder the abundant effective Spirit-filled life God has planned for you - based primarily on the book of Isaiah.  This ‘Brown Bag Bible Study’ is hosted by Friendship Circle, but is open to all women and will meet at the church on Wednesdays from 12 – 2 beginning September 30th  in room 132.  Please contact Julie Pfister for more information at 703-909-6658.

 

Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman.  Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman.  Judy Galbreath will lead the group which will meet on Wednesday nights at 7:30 beginning September 30th.  Please contact Judy Galbreath for more information. 

 

Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit by Beth Moore.  This study revolves around Galations 5:22-23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no law. You will explore the characteristics of the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is within each of us.  The filling and subsequent fruit of the Spirit won’t just change your life, it will change your day!  This group will meet in the evenings beginning in January 2010.  Please contact Julie Pfister for more information at 703-909-6658.
