This one-week, half-day camp will culminate in a showcase that features individual talents and group strengths in an ensemble piece. Brave Art Camp for Girls 9-12
July 15-19, 2019, Monday-Friday, from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
God’s Word says to be strong and brave, but what does that mean for preteen girls and how do they apply it to their lives? This summer we’ll look at God as Creator, and with God’s truth, plan, and love, we can be a light to the world and to others. We will explore different art mediums: drawing, clay, weavings, ink prints, and painting.
Musical Theater Camp II for Rising 2nd through 5th graders
July 22-26, 2019, Monday-Thursday, from 12:00-3:30 p.m., and Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Rising 2nd graders through rising 5th graders will work with arts professionals to take a piece of children’s literature from the page to the stage, adding some singing and dancing as they go! This process will include an exploration of story structure, character creation, music making and of theatrical performance skills with a final performance!
