Worship at Aldersgate
Worship is the heart of Aldersgate Church.
The passion of our worship team is to lead our community into the presence of God during every worship experience.
Whether it is through traditional choirs, contemporary praise songs, banjo-driven bluegrass, or compelling, creative teaching, the heart of our worship is to celebrate God’s faithfulness and our gratitude for the work of Christ in our lives.
There are four services each weekend. Although the style of each varies one from the other, all are marked by the same commitment to community, music, and preaching. The same sermon is usually preached at all four services.
The Saturday Service is “unplugged”: You’ll find contemplative music, such as that from Taizé, compelling preaching, and communion every week. Saturdays at 5:30 p.m.
The Traditional Services include hymns and anthems with choir and organ, but they also feature the same engaging preaching. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. Sundays at 8:30 and 11:15 a.m.
The Journeys Service is our contemporary praise service, with band and singing. It is our least formal service, but the preaching isn’t watered down. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. Sundays at 9:45 a.m.
