Director of Student Ministries
Aldersgate UMC is seeking a part-time Director of Student Ministries. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing a comprehensive and robust ministry for the youth (grades 6-12) and their families from the Aldersgate UMC congregation and throughout the Fort Hunt community in the Mt. Vernon area. This part-time position will average 20-25 hours/week with a salary of $30,000-$35,000 under the direction of the Associate Pastor.

Nursery Childcare Workers
Aldersgate UMC is seeking childcare workers for the nursery for Fall 2024. The nursery provides age-appropriate care for children from birth to 3-years-old on Sunday mornings during worship and other weekly activities. Persons filling this position will work 1-3 hours a week at $12/hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with experience working with children.

Executive Assistant
Aldersgate UMC is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Executive Director and to serve as back-up to the Receptionist. This person must be an effective communicator (written and verbal), be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, and possess a high level of detail and accuracy in work production. This part-time position is approximately 16 hours/week (Monday - Thursday, 12:00pm - 4:30pm) at $15-$20/hour under the direction of the Executive Director.
