Rev. Pamela Kipps

Pastor Pamela is a second career pastor, having spent 12 years in the business world prior to feeling God’s call to enter the ministry. She worked in the fields of Training and Development and Human Resources for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City and Tysons Corner; led a Training and Development Department for Ruesch International, a company that specialized in foreign exchange services; and provided Management Training as a corporate consultant. She served on staff at Christ Church in Fairfax Station for four years as the Director of Kids Ministries, and most recently was blessed to serve as the Associate Pastor at Fairfax United Methodist Church. Pastor Pamela has a heart for discipleship; soul care ministries; children and youth; and helping the church experience joy in their relationships with the Lord and each other! 

Pastor Pamela earned her Master of Divinity at Wesley Theological Seminary in 2019 and is returning to Wesley this year to begin her Doctor of Ministry. She and her husband, Bob, have been married for almost 30 years; they have three grown kids who are the light of their lives, along with their beloved dog, Tux! Pamela and Bob love spending time with family and their wide circle of friends. They are a sports-loving family; are involved with local charities; love the arts and to travel; and spend time by the water whenever they can. Pamela and Bob look forward to meeting all at Aldersgate and growing in friendship and faith!
